Non-Emergency Medical Transportation on Long Island

A medical appointment can already feel stressful. The ride should not add to it. Raja Limousine provides calm, private transportation for ambulatory passengers traveling to planned doctor visits, hospitals, therapy appointments and outpatient facilities across Long Island and New York City.

This is not emergency transportation. If someone has chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness or another urgent condition, call 911 immediately.

Care Begins with Respect

A quieter, more personal way to reach an appointment

You may be arranging transportation for yourself, a parent, a spouse or someone you care about. Our goal is simple: arrive on time, provide a clean and comfortable private vehicle, communicate clearly and treat every passenger with patience and dignity.

Speak with a reservation team that can document the appointment, entrance, companion and return-trip plan.

Service Boundaries

Chauffeurs are not medical personnel

Raja Limousine provides private passenger transportation. Our drivers do not diagnose, monitor vital signs, administer medication, physically lift or transfer passengers, operate medical equipment or provide emergency care.

  • Vehicles are not ambulances
  • Vehicles are not wheelchair-lift vans
  • No stretcher transportation
  • No medical supervision during travel
  • No driver lifting or hands-on transfer assistance
  • No transportation when emergency care may be needed

Mobility & Discharge Planning

Safe travel requires the right arrangement

A foldable walker or wheelchair may fit in some vehicles when disclosed before booking, but the passenger must be able to transfer safely into and out of the vehicle without driver lifting assistance.

For outpatient procedures, anesthesia or hospital discharge, follow the facility’s escort policy. If a responsible adult is required, that person must travel or meet the passenger as instructed by the healthcare facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plan the right transportation

Is Raja Limousine an ambulance or medical provider?

No. Raja Limousine provides private transportation only. Chauffeurs do not provide medical care, monitoring, medication, lifting or emergency assistance.

Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?

Our standard sedans, SUVs and vans are not wheelchair-lift vehicles. A foldable mobility aid may be considered when disclosed in advance and when the passenger can safely transfer without driver lifting assistance.

Can a family member or caregiver travel too?

Yes. A companion or caregiver is welcome when included in the reservation and the selected vehicle has sufficient seating and storage capacity.

Can the chauffeur wait during the appointment?

Waiting and return service may be arranged in advance. Pricing depends on the expected appointment duration, location, parking and vehicle schedule. If the end time is uncertain, discuss the best return arrangement before booking.

Can a passenger ride home alone after anesthesia?

Only when the healthcare facility allows it. Many facilities require a responsible adult escort after sedation or anesthesia. The customer must follow all discharge instructions; a chauffeur does not replace a required caregiver.

Do you bill Medicaid, Medicare or insurance?

This service is presented as private-pay transportation. Contact your health plan directly before travel to determine whether any reimbursement is available.
